Our Grandfamilies program is looking for donations of new or (very) gently used books for kids ages 4-18 in preparation for the kick-off of the Summer Reading Program. The kick off event is tentatively scheduled for Monday, June 1 at 6:00 pm. Even if the event isn't held live due to COVID-19, we will distribute the books to the children and start them off in the reading program anyway. Kids that meet their reading goals can earn prizes at the end-of-summer Friend2Friend activity.
Donations should be brought to our Parkview Building at 1161 E 300 North in Provo (just north of the lower Seven Peaks parking lot along 300 N) attn: Carrie Healy or Sara Terry.
Grandfamilies is a support and educational program for Grandparents (or other relative) who are raising a child(ren) because the biological parent is either unable or unwilling to do so.
