VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) is a free tax preparation service for people with annual incomes of $67,000 or less, and each year it brings around 4 million dollars back into Utah County. No previous finance experience required.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and make them feel welcome and comfortable
- Distribute and collect the needed forms
- Direct volunteers to best tax preparer to fit client's needs
Volunteers are expected to commit to one 3-hour shift each week. Spanish-speaking volunteers are especially needed!
