Do you love music and enjoy sharing your passion for guitar with others? The United Way Community Center in Payson is looking for a Substitute Guitar Teacher to step in once a week and support our music program.
Our guitar classes are a fun, welcoming space for learners of all ages and skill levels. As a substitute teacher, you’ll help guide students, provide encouragement, and keep the class running smoothly when the primary instructor is unavailable.
What you’ll do:
-
Lead or assist with weekly guitar classes.
-
Create a positive and supportive environment for students.
-
Encourage practice, creativity, and confidence in learning music.
What we’re looking for:
-
Basic to intermediate guitar skills (teaching experience a plus, but not required).
-
Reliability and a friendly, patient attitude.
-
Willingness to inspire and connect with community members through music.
This is a great opportunity to give back to the community, build teaching experience, and share the joy of music!
