VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) is a free tax preparation service for people with annual incomes of $67,000 or less, and each year it brings around 4 million dollars back into Utah County. Our volunteers are critical and every hour they volunteer brings an average of $1000 back to the community. No previous finance experience required. Spanish speakers needed!
Responsibilities:
- Pass IRS volunteer tax preparation exam (training and support will be provided)
- Ask for help when encountering difficult or unclear tax situations
- Use IRS-approved resources to find answers to tax law questions
