Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Provo Halloween Carnival. This carnival brings all kinds of fun, immersive experiences to the Recreation Center: games, character meet-and-greet, Stranger Things Haunted House, Star Wars Laser Tag, Avengers Nerf Tag, crafts, story rooms, magic shows, mad science demonstrations, candy and so much more! Most importantly, it provides FUN for the community.
Date & Location: Saturday October 26 at the Provo Recreation Center (320 W 500 N Provo, UT, 84601).
Time: We have three different volunteer shifts available.
Shift 1: 3:00 pm-7:00 pm
Shift 2: 6:30 pm-10:30pm
Character Shift: 3:30pm- 10:15pm: Characters in our Trick or Treat Street and Story Book Rooms. They will need to be present the entire carnival, but will have a break half-way through.
What to expect:
You can specify where you would like to participate on the Google Form. We have jobs for everyone! In general, we are asking you to monitor and facilitate different activities throughout the carnival. This may include but is not limited to: helping participants with the games, decorating, leading participants through the themed classrooms, acting as a character and handing out candy in the Trick-or-Treat Street, running the Star Wars laser tag, assisting with the Stranger Things haunted house, or helping with registration.
Benefits: As a volunteer, you will receive one free admission to participate in the carnival on the shift you are not volunteering. We will also feed you dinner and provide you with a thank-you gift at the end of your shift. Plus, there is tons of candy and fun!
