The time is coming for Bike Picnic! This event is unique because everyone is encouraged to wear formal wear- while riding bikes! Participants will park at the Utah Lake Marina and ride around 3 miles to Lakeview Park where everyone will meet up to set up their own themed picnics. There will also be many bike vendors at the park with interactive booths for participants as well. We are expecting around 300 people at this year's event.We are reaching out to you to come participate and volunteer in this fun event!
Date & Where: May 20th at Utah Lake Marina (Check-in) and Lakeview Park (Picnic Area) in Provo
What time: Volunteers will be needed from 3 pm- 9 pm. There will be two separate 3 hour and 15 min shifts that cover these hours. The actual event is 4:30 pm - 7 pm.
What to expect: We are asking you to monitor and facilitate different activities throughout the Festival. This may include but is not limited to: Directing bike participants to the starting line, being a crossing guard to help bikes safely cross the road, man booths at the park, escort participants to their picnic area, help set and take down the event, etc.
We have two shifts of volunteers for this event. If you choose to volunteer for the the 1st shift 3 pm-6:15 pm, you will be included in helping us set up the event and get bikers safely to the park. If you choose to volunteer for the 2nd shift, 5:45 pm- 9 pm, you will be helping us direct the picnic activities and take-down. Please plan on attending for your entire shift. We also will plan on serving you dinner as a small thank you for helping us at this event. On the shift that you are not volunteering for, we invite you participate in the event!

We would be grateful for your time to make our Bike Picnic the best that it can be! We cant run these event without the help of our amazing volunteers. We rely on you to help us make that personal contact with all of participants that it sometimes hard for us to do as we are running around throughout the event.
