Who We Are

The Welcome Baby program, offered by United Way of Utah County, provides free support to new and expecting parents through personalized home visits, playgroups, and parenting classes. Volunteers offer education, guidance, and emotional support to help families navigate the challenges of parenthood and promote healthy child development. Welcome Baby empowers parents with the tools and confidence they need to give their child the best start in life.

What We Do

Welcome Baby, in partnership with the Utah County Health Department, is a free community resource designed to support new and expecting parents across Utah County. The program offers three key components to empower families during the critical early years of parenthood: Home Visitation, Ready to Learn Parenting Classes, and Playgroups. Through personalized home visits, trained volunteers provide education, guidance, and emotional support, helping parents build confidence and resilience as they navigate the challenges of raising a child. Ready to Learn classes offer practical parenting skills, while playgroups create opportunities for socialization and early childhood development. Together, these programs provide essential resources and support to strengthen families and create a positive, lasting impact on our community.
