We are a small grassroots refugee services Utah nonprofit 501c3 in existence since 2006 operating in a truly nonprofit humanitarian spirit making a living in another profession and performing a labor of love for what we feel are one the most vulnerable members of our society - refuguees who do not know English nor their way around our system!
Provides language interpretatin guidance to refugees who do not know English nor their way around our system primarily Somali refugees in Salt Lake County. However, we are looking for a reliable volunteer who is knowledgeable about or is willing to learn to help our clients apply online for unemployment compensation, low-income housing, and HEAT program benefits. We offer perks for this position and ensure it is not stressfull rather enjoyable with a great sense of accomplishment performing humanitarian work.
