Come hang out at the Oremfest Summer Night Dream!
The Oremfest Committee is looking for individuals or small groups willing to assist with Summer Night Dream in the Orchard at University Place. Come spend a few fun-filled hours with us!
Job Title: Volunteer Assistant
Description/Purpose: A volunteer assistant helps manage details and lends support to the Event Coordinator during the evening.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist with setup (help move lounge furniture and set up tables)
- Aid in volunteer sign in/sign out
- Manage shift rotation and breaks for volunteers
- Help attendees safely cross the road (using a handheld stop sign) between parking lot and kickoff party
- Offer support with clean up (put furniture back, pick up litter, collect lost items)
Age Requirement: Must be at least 16 years old or be accompanied by an adult.
Qualifications Needed: No previous experience necessary. This position is ideal for friendly people with good communication skills. Must be able to stand or walk around for extended periods of time.
Time Commitment: 2 hours.
Work Location: The Orchard at Univeristy Place, 575 East University Parkway in Orem. Please check in at the center pergola located near the H&M entrance (on the north side of University Place).
Training: A brief training session will be held when you arrive for your shift.
Support: Volunteer assistants will primarily report to Ashley Coleman or a representative on duty.
Uniform: Wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Bring a jacket or small blanket in case of inclement weather.
Benefits: In addition to the good feelings that come from serving your community, each volunteer will receive an Oremfest T-shirt and refreshments throughout the shift.
