United Way Payson Community Center is seeking a dedicated Spanish-speaking volunteer to teach a weekly Spanish class in our community. This class is designed to support beginners and those looking to strengthen basic conversation, reading, and writing skills in a welcoming, supportive environment.
Time Commitment:
• 1 hour per week
• Flexible scheduling based on volunteer availability
Responsibilities:
• Lead a one-hour Spanish language class
• Prepare simple, engaging lessons focused on practical language use
• Create a positive and encouraging learning environment
• Support students with varying levels of experience
Qualifications:
• Fluent or highly proficient in Spanish
• Comfortable teaching people in a group setting
• Patient, friendly, and community-minded
• Teaching experience is helpful but not required
