Help Kids Discover the Joy of Music!
We’re starting an Intro to Music Class for kids at the Payson Community Center and are looking for a fun, music-loving volunteer to lead the way!
The class meets once a week for 1 hour and runs for about 10 weeks, starting the week of September 8th. You'll guide students through the basics of music in a fun and engaging way—covering topics like rhythm, melody, and different musical instruments. Lesson plans and slides are provided to help you get started, but you’re welcome to bring your own ideas and creativity to the class.
Each class includes time to:
Build relationships with students, teach a simple music concept, play musical games and activities, and encourage kids to practice what they learn. If you love music and enjoy working with kids, this is a great chance to share your passion and make a difference!
