We are looking for material donations or monetary donations to build 58 grow boxes. We are planning on building 6 8' Beds, 12 12' Beds and 40 16' Beds! 1 grow box cost $150 to build. If you choose to donate the amount of 1 box- YOU GET TO NAME IT! The total amount for this Project is $8559.64 Materials can be shipped directly to Community Action or dropped off. We have a variety of kits that we have a regular need for in addition to many one-time projects such as fundraising for or building a Little Library for one of our community gardens, collecting plants for our community gardens, or giving our collection barrels a makeover. Interested scouts should contact the volunteer coordinator to set up an interview and discuss project ideas.
