Deliver More Than a Meal — Make a Difference with Meals on Wheels

Just one hour a week can brighten the day of a homebound senior in your community. Meals on Wheels needs caring volunteers to deliver meals and smiles during weekday lunch hours (11 AM – 1 PM) using your own vehicle. You choose the day that works for you.

Looking for a meaningful way to give back? Join us in delivering meals to homebound seniors. Meals on Wheels is seeking community-minded volunteers to deliver meals and check in on homebound seniors. With just 3-4 hours a week, you can deliver meals and smiles to our senior neighbors.

Drive a Meals on Wheels vehicle to pick up meals from our Spanish Fork kitchen and deliver them to seniors' homes and designated drop-off locations throughout the community.

Your time helps local seniors:

Stay independent in their own homes

Receive a daily safety check

Experience regular social connection

Volunteer Details:

Commit to 3-4 hours once a week (or more, if desired) between 8 AM and 12 PM

Assigned a regular delivery day, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays)

Drive a Meals on Wheels delivery truck equipped with hot/cold meal storage (no special license required)

Deliver to 4–6 drop-off sites and a few senior homes

Time commitment: approximately 3-4 hours per shift

Volunteers needed in Utah County

Meals are picked up at the Utah County Jail kitchen in Spanish Fork

We are looking for volunteers who are willing to donate their time, talents and skills at our MAG Aging and Family Services office. Volunteers would be assisting our staff with vital clerical and office work that would ultimately be helping the seniors in the area. Examples of the work would include, organizing paper work, or preparing gifts for homebound seniors and more! We are willing to work with your schedule.

You will complete new client assessments (Nutrition and Health check) and annual re-assessments for seniors who are receiving Meals on Wheels. You would visit their home and complete a nutritional evaluation and then enter that information into our online database.
