Volunteer: Circles Dinner Donations

Circles Utah Valley is an initiative that assists low-income families in achieving goals and becoming self-reliant. We also host a weekly meeting for the Circles families where we provide a group dinner.

*Food Safety Guidelines* 

Currently we have participants with peanut and coconut allergies. Please respect food safety when you make dinner. If you feel unwell and do not think you should make the dinner please let us know so we can prepare dinner instead. Thank you!

Provo: Tuesdays from 5:30 pm to 6:20 pm        (Prepare enough food for ALL 85 people who attend)

Dinner donation policies:

If possible please include a Gluten Free option we have 2 individuals who have Celiacs Disease and 3 others with sensitivities to gluten. Please deliver dinner to the Circles site by 5:15 pm You are welcome to simply drop off the dinner and leave, or stay and learn more about our initiative Food preparation should take place off-site Water, paper products, serving utensils, and cleaning supplies are provided Photography of clients is not permitted

Strengthen your community by helping low income families and individuals in becoming financially self-reliant.

Circles will train you to become an intentional friend (Ally) to low income individuals and families who are working to become financially self-reliant. Allies meet with Circles participants on the 1st and 3rd week of the month. We are looking for individuals who speak Spanish as well. We provide classes in both English and Spanish.

An Ally is asked to:

Inspire hope Support in overcoming obstacles Connect with resources Encourage to achieve goals Celebrate steps of success

What do I gain as an Ally?

The opportunity to witness the impact of your volunteer work and to make a long-lasting difference in the local community Two trainings to prepare you for your role and help you better understand poverty culture Dinner and childcare is provided for you and your family
